About us
Our mission
In collaboration with the Ministry of Education Schools, we are committed to providing free, enriching summer programs for children ages four to twelve in Eleuthera. Our approach ensures that children of all abilities are welcome, creating a diverse and supportive learning environment.
Our program
Our program is both academic and extracurricular in nature; we intersperse literacy and math with arts, crafts, and sports to keep everyone engaged and the brain boosted over the long summer months!
Our teachers
All of our teachers volunteer their time to come to camp and bring their own supplies and activities.
We have introduced a teacher-in-training program where local high school students are hired to work with our teachers and earn a stipend at the end of each week. They are gaining valuable experience working with children and we hope they may consider becoming teachers one day. As they return to our program year after year, they continue to grow their teaching skills. This year, we’re excited to announce that two of our former teacher assistants will be running their own classrooms at camp this summer!
